Just started Wakeboarding.?
Alright so this summer I started getting in on wakeboarding more this summer and started doing some more wakeboarding on lake tapps (Where i live). So I’m able to ollio 180 both sides back and fourth and powerslide and Surface 180 both sides back and fourth and I’m able to jump HS and TS and am able to ride both sides I ride goofy better though. I’m wondering since i recently started HS jumping and I started with TS and I’m already better at HS I’m clearing wake and i wanna start doing tricks on both sides jumping tricks what would you suggest since I just started getting the hang of it. P.S I’ve landed TS jumping 180 couple times. Give me on tips what I should start doing.
Also I ride on a cobalt boat when I go a newer type of one cobalt don’t have towers from what I know but on my board i just took out the middle fins and I feel a lot better with them off should i take sides off also?

If your spinning FS 180′s (Spin facing the boat) I reccomend trying BS 180′s (Spin facing away from the boat) Other wise try HS FS 360′s (Jump HS spin facing the boat for first rotation).
ok. I know you want to do flips and spins and that is what its all about, rite? let me just say start to ride switch. its not glamorous or exciting for anyone to watch but it will help your riding tremendously. you can’t expect to jump and do things that will take you switch if you can’t ride once you’re switch. Other than that ( and I really mean get good enough switch so that your boat buds cant tell the difference) start with a half-cab. ollie 180 to switch, hit the hs jump doing a 180 landing your normal stance, goofy. then start to add grabs. if you cant do a basic grab and hold it for a sec then you dont need to be flipping and spinning. I know too many riders that have 0 zero Z E R O style but try to huck flips and spins. they look like crap,( did I mention they have no style or form?) they have hurt themselves and the will never progress properly because they do not have the foundations of the sport down solid.
good luck
